A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our very first Austin Community College Alumni Happy Hour at The Golden Horn! Check out some photos below from the event! 📸

We had nearly 30 attendees come together to connect, socialize, and reminisce about the lasting impact of ACC. It was wonderful seeing our alumni community grow and engage with one another.

Special thanks to Karla De La Rosa and Lami Dame from Career Life Design Services at ACC for joining us and sharing valuable insights on the career benefits and resources available to our alums.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Austin Housing Authority Intern Reunion & 10th Anniversary Celebration! 🎉

Ten years ago, a partnership between Austin Community College District and Housing Authority of the City of Austin began with a clear mission: to bridge opportunity with service. Looking back on this journey, we are immensely proud of the impact this internship has made and how far our alums have come.

It was an incredible evening reflecting on the journey that began in the summer of 2016 and celebrating how far our alums have come. With over 50 attendees, we shared memories, reconnected with fellow Riverbats, and celebrated the lasting impact of this program.
Thank you for celebrating with us and for continuing to invest in the future.

Special thanks to Chief Operating Officer at Housing Authority of the City of Austin and ACC Foundation Board Member Sylvia Calderon for attending the event.
Thank you to Capital IDEA as well as our incredible interns and alums!
