Next up for our Senior Spotlight: Austin Rainwater

“Hi, I’m Austin Rainwater! I am majoring in Commercial Music: Music Production. I love to produce Christian electronic music and shoot photography and videography for social media and clients. I’ve always tried to entertain and make people laugh in band, with the work I do, and how I live my life, while reflecting Christ and bringing glory to him!”

We’re beyond grateful to have Austin as part of the Samford Marching Bulldogs!

Every senior leaves their mark on the SUMB and we’re excited to shine a light one these individuals. Kicking it off for our senior spotlights is Gigi Canale!

“My name is Gigi Canale and I’m an alto saxophone player for the SUMB! I am majoring in Law and History and minoring in Philosophy and Biblical Studies. When I graduate, I plan to go to law school and eventually prosecute human trafficking and child abuse. I’ve loved my time at Samford, and 3 years ago I made the best decision of my college career: to join the Samford University Marching Band. I’ve loved every second and I wouldn’t take it back for the world. Thank you guys for everything 🫶🏼”

We’re beyond grateful to have Gigi as part of the Samford Marching Bulldogs!💙

Just a little upgrade with a whole lot of sound. 🎶

You might’ve heard them last week already, but the trumpet section has some new additions! We’re excited to put these new horns to use for the rest of the season.

A huge thank you to our donors for making this possible. Your support means so much to our band!💙
