Destiny is making an impact beyond the classroom!

RST student Destiny Freeman recently spoke at the Obama Presidential Center about the impact of youth mentoring and her experience with Youth Guidance’s Working on Womanhood (WOW) program.

We’re proud to see our students using their voices, sharing their experiences, and making a difference in their communities.

Proud to celebrate the recent publication of Alessio Norrito, Post Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of RST.

In his new paper, Alessio explores the concept of love through Greek and Latin, asking how different understandings can offer a new framework for creating change through sport.

The paper considers how placing care, relationships, and connection at the centre of sport for development and peace can open up more thoughtful and transformative approaches to social change.

Congratulations, Alessio! 👏
