Our annual OCWA pecan fundraiser is officially here!

OCWA is now taking orders for this year’s pecans, available in both halves and medium chopped pieces for $12 per pound. The deadline to order is Thursday, November 5, at 10 a.m.

Please note: Pecan pieces may be delayed and might not arrive until after Thanksgiving.

Those who prefer to pay with cash or check can email their order to Ellie at [email protected] and pay at pickup.

Pecan pickup will take place on Monday, November 16, from 2-4 p.m. in the Oklahoma Christian University Garvey Center kitchen area. If you’re placing a large order (more than 20 pounds), please contact Ellie by email or call 405-425-5092 to make arrangements.

Morgan (Boling '20) Lair was recently promoted to Associate Director of Athletics at Texas Woman's University! Lair has been a member of the Pioneer athletics staff since November 2021, joining Texas Woman's as the Sports Information Director before being promoted to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications in July 2022. She was also recently named to the College Sports Communicators 30 Under 30 Class of 2025.

EDMOND - The Oklahoma Christian University Athletic Department has set the date for its fifth annual Day of Giving. The 24-hour online giving campaign will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2027. The Oklahoma Christian University Athletic Department has set the date for its fifth annual Day of Giving. The 24-hour online giving campaign will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2027. OC Athletics Day of Giving will once again serve as an opportunity for donors, alumni, parents, staff and former student-athletes to come together to support Eagles Athletics.

Last spring, OC Athletics raised over $290,000 from more than 466 generous donors across 34 states and four countries for Athletics Day of Giving. If you would like to learn more about our fifth annual OC Athletics Day of Giving or are interested in becoming a matching donor, please contact [email protected]. Rusty Tugman ('94) was recently named President of Strata Leadership. Tugman is a seasoned organizational leader, executive coach and leadership development professional with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals, teams and organizations maximize their potential. A Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, Rusty has dedicated his career to developing leaders and strengthening organizations across government, higher education, corporate, nonprofit, sports and faith-based settings. Previously, he worked as a Corporate Trainer and Leadership Coach for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
