Second-level mental health nursing students had the opportunity to present on stress in the home to participants at Radical Life Inc.

What a meaningful experience for everyone involved! Opportunities like this allow our students to take what they are learning beyond the classroom, connect with members of our community, and learn from the individuals they serve. It was truly an opportunity for learning, connection, and growth on both sides. 🐝💛🖤

Thanks to Lamont Wesleyan Church for the yummy Cowboy Mac and Cheese! Also, kudos to ESU Nursing Student for presenting on healthy lifestyle changes for Phases 2 & 3. Phase 1 learned about language!

Our hearts are full!

Thanks to Flinthills Bible Church, ESU Nursing students, and all volunteers for making last night a success! Night 1 of our new cohorts was amazing!

Macie and Carleigh, two of our 3rd level nursing students, volunteered their afternoon to help with pediatric health screenings at a local elementary school. They did an amazing job, and we love seeing our Nursing Hornets out serving our community!

Our 3rd level nursing students had some pretty cute visitors this week in NU 429: Maternal Newborn and Pediatric Nursing Practicum! 🧸🩺

We welcomed guest “patients” and their parents for our Peds in Practice clinical experience. Students applied their knowledge of pediatric assessment skills and growth and development to complete a comprehensive health history and physical assessment, administer a developmental screening tool, and provide anticipatory guidance for their assigned children.

A huge thank you to our patients and their parents for volunteering their time and making this meaningful learning experience possible! 💛🖤
