Nursing school demands dedication, focus, and strong support. We offer opportunities and resources to support students every step of the way. That is why AZCN is proud to partner with the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) to cover membership costs for active Core students and fund scholarship opportunities.

We recently caught up with three of our 2026 NBNA scholarship recipients, Demetria Brown, Mekelit Fiseha, and Kyara Renelus, to discuss their reactions to receiving the award, their experiences within NBNA, and learn how this support is shaping their academic journeys and career goals.

Arizona College of Nursing (AZCN) is proud to partner with the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) to support student connections to community, mentorship, and scholarships. Since 1975, NAHN has been the leading organization advocating for Latino nurses in communities nationwide.

Through its partnership with NAHN, AZCN covers the cost of national and local chapter membership dues for interested Core Nursing students across all nursing campuses.
