Join the brothers of Phi Gamma Delta on October 24th at 4 PM at 218 S. Cedar St. as we welcome back former brothers and their families for an evening of dinner, chapter updates, and brotherhood.

We will also be hosting a tailgate for our Fiji alumni to cheer on the Prairie Fire against Lawrence University on October 24th! Join us at the East Parking Lot from 11 AM–1 PM before kickoff at 1 PM. Friends and family are welcome!

It is with heavy hearts that the Gamma Deuteron Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta mourns the passing of Brother John Pritchard ’78, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 70.

John was a proud Gamma Deuteron brother, former Chapter President, and a dedicated member of our House Corporation, where he served as Treasurer. He was also a tremendous supporter of the Gamma Deuteron chapter house restoration project and gave generously to help preserve our chapter home and its legacy for future generations of brothers.

Beyond Phi Gamma Delta, John devoted years of service to his hometown of Galesburg, including serving as Mayor for eight years.

John’s impact on Gamma Deuteron, Knox College, and the Galesburg community will not be forgotten. We are incredibly grateful for his brotherhood, leadership, generosity, and commitment to the fraternity he loved.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Jane, his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Brother Pritchard.
