I joined pi phi through formal recruitment because of how kind and supportive everyone was. I would run into people outside of recruitment and the energy never changed. Joining a group of likeminded people provides you with a place on campus where you can have fun and relax, but it also gives you an amazing support group and so many leadership opportunities.

I joined pi phi last year to find friends and community! Everyone seemed very welcoming :)) I was in a bit of a slump and pi phi helped me lock in! Especially at a small school it’s a great way to make friends and talk to people you may not have otherwise !

I joined Pi Phi the winter of my freshman year, when i still hadn't found my home away from home. Everyone was so kind to me, even when I made mistakes and did things wrong. Pi Phi has been the best place for me to grow and learn about myself, the world, and just dance. The connections i have made within the chapter, and with alumni, will be lifelong, because the connections of pi phi are just that deep. Seeing my angels around campus always brings a smile to my face, and i can't imagine where i would be if i had given into my fear and not gone to decorate my planner with them that day in January. I for sure wouldn't have met my best friends or eaten as much good food.

I joined the IL Beta-Delta chapter of pi phi during winter recruitment in 2026, for the warm community and amazing friendships i found. There are so many leadership opportunities for all members, and it's always such a chill and flexible environment. Everyone wants to help each other learn and have fun! From the late night cram sessions, to ramen flights and walks around the park, i wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
