🎉 We are proud to celebrate Melissa Noto Nordin, DHSc, recipient of the 2025–2026 Outstanding Quantitative Dissertation Award! This recognition honors the dedication and rigorous research behind her dissertation. Please join us in congratulating Melissa on this achievement! 👏🎓

Melissa is an epidemiologist and University of Indianapolis scholar focused on population health analytics, health policy, biostatistics, and health communication. She has led population health initiatives and developed evidence-based programs across healthcare and public health settings.

Her dissertation explores how clear, standardized communication about resources can support students’ continuity of care, health literacy, and advocacy after natural disasters. Her related research also informs a tool in development to help researchers evaluate anonymous survey responses amid AI-generated content and bot activity. She plans to continue developing both the student resource communication strategy and the researcher-focused tool.

Congratulations, Melissa! Your work reflects the impact thoughtful research can have on health and well-being. 🌟
