We're excited to spotlight Anna Bennett who completed an internship at Henderson County UK Cooperative Extension!
During the summer, Anna gained valuable experience working alongside agents in 4-H, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Horticulture, and Family Consumer Sciences. Some highlights included attending the 4-H Teen Conference, participating in site visits with agriculture and horticulture agents, and assisting with youth and family consumer science programs. One of the most rewarding parts of the internship was developing Adulting 101, a four-workshop program designed to prepare young adults for real-world experiences. Through assisting with various programs, Anna learned how to plan, market, and manage a project from start to finish. Anna also had the opportunity to present Adulting 101 at the end-of-summer intern showcase!
We're proud to Anna taking initiative, developing valuable professional skills, and creating programs that make a difference in her communities.
