Homecoming will be here before we know it, so it’s time for a Class of 2007 roll call!

It may not be our reunion year just yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come back, reconnect, make some memories, and enjoy Homecoming together. Plus, this year we get to celebrate our fellow Fiskites from the Class of 2006 as they celebrate 20 years! 🎉

This Independence Day, the Fisk University Class of 2007 celebrates the strength of our identity as Black Americans.

Our history in this country is both patriotic and painful. We celebrate the freedoms we enjoy today while honoring the generations of ancestors who endured bo***ge, built this nation through forced labor, and were denied the wealth and opportunities their sacrifices created.

Because of them, we stand. Because of them, we earned our education. Because of them, we continue to break barriers and build legacy.

Today, we celebrate our freedom, honor our ancestors, and recommit ourselves to creating a future worthy of their sacrifice.

From our Fisk family to yours, Happy Fourth of July.

For 160 years, Fisk University has transformed lives, opened doors, and shaped generations of leaders.

As the Class of 2007, we are part of that story.

Fisk invested in us. Now it’s our turn to invest in Fisk.
