SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!✨
Today we’re celebrating Summer Dingman, PC ‘22!!
Summer is graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with concentrations in American Literature, British/Irish/Anglophone Literature, and Creative Nonfiction. She also minored in Spanish and Women’s and Gender Studies. This summer, she will be living in Red Cloud, Nebraska, while interning at the National Willa Cather Center before beginning her gap year in August.
Throughout her time in Chi Omega, Summer served as Assistant to the Secretary, Vice President, and Rho Gamma. Through these roles, she helped support the chapter while building meaningful relationships and growing as a leader.
Summer shared that she feels incredibly privileged to have been part of a group of women who are supportive, intelligent, and thoughtful. She admires the kindness and grace that her sisters bring to every interaction and credits Chi Omega with giving her the space to grow into herself and express who she is wholeheartedly. The friendships, encouragement, and examples set by those around her have made a lasting impact on her life.
Reflecting on her favorite memory, she shared,
“Bid Day 2024 is a memory I hold close. I woke up at around 6 AM to help get things together; prepared for the new girls to run home; set up, celebrated, and cleaned up Bid Day; went straight to the student involvement fair to represent Chi O in 90-degree heat; had to go to the storage unit to put away the clunky furniture from Bid Day; then was finally able to relax at around 7:30 PM and went out to dinner with . After one of the most exhausting, Chi Omega-filled days, I still was so grateful to be surrounded by people I paid to be friends with.” 💛
We are so proud of you Summer!!
