☄️ Look Up! The Perseid Meteor Shower Peaks August 12–13 ☄️

One of the year's best meteor showers is almost here! The Perseid Meteor Shower is active from July 17 through August 24, with peak viewing during the overnight hours of August 12–13. Under dark skies, you could see 50–100 meteors per hour streaking across the sky!

🌠 Best viewing tips:
✨ Find a dark location away from city lights.
✨ Head outside around 11:00 PM and stay out until dawn—the hours after midnight offer the best views.
✨ No telescope or binoculars are needed! Just give your eyes about 20–30 minutes to adjust to the darkness.
✨ Bring a reclining chair or blanket, look toward the northeastern sky, and enjoy the show.

This year's peak occurs under excellent dark-sky conditions thanks to a new Moon, making 2026 one of the best years in recent memory to enjoy the Perseids.
