Damaris took her Criminal Justice studies abroad to Madrid, Spain, where she connected her academic path with global perspectives on justice, youth support, and community impact.
With the support of a scholarship, Damaris was able to make this experience a reality and focus on the personal, academic, and professional growth that came with studying abroad. 🌍
While in Madrid, she explored the city’s history and culture, experienced everyday life in Spain, and built confidence through real-world Spanish immersion. Most importantly, she stepped outside of her comfort zone and discovered new opportunities that once felt out of reach.
Her advice to future students?
“Don’t rule it out too quickly… there are more scholarships and support options than you might expect. Apply even if you are unsure.” 💙✨
