Thank you so much, Spokane!

With the support of local businesses, organizations, and community members, we were able to offer seven amazing summer career camps!

Students were able to explore countless options for their future careers, meet with and tour local businesses, and do hands-on activities that expanded their knowledge while having a ton of fun!

Last year we ran four camps: Electronics, Public Works, Manufacturing, and Conservation.

This year, we were able to bring all of the camps back, as well as add three more! The new camps being Journalism, Baking, and Criminal Justice & Forensics.

We are so thankful for the support of our generous Spokane community, and we cannot wait to start planning for next year!

🥐🍰 That’s a wrap on Week 2 of Spokane Colleges’ Summer Career Camps!

Our Baking Camp students spent the week learning new culinary skills, exploring career opportunities, and creating some incredible treats. All with the guidance of Chef Curtis Smith and our outstanding culinary team. We were so excited to welcome Spokane Community College's President Dr. Jenni Martin, who stopped by to see our young bakers in action!

Hearing from families has been one of the best parts of camp:
💬 "Our son truly enjoyed the camp! He enjoyed the classroom and field trip experiences."
💬 "Please keep doing this program! We want to come back next summer."

Thank you to our Inland Northwest Culinary Academy at Spokane Community College, Chef Curtis, and everyone who helps make these hands-on career exploration experiences possible for our community's students.

☀️ It's not too late to join us this summer! We still have a few seats available in our Conservation and Journalism Career Camps. Give your student the opportunity to discover new interests, build skills, and explore future careers in a fun, engaging environment.
