Missouri State University Pride Bands This page is for all alumni, current members, and friends of the PRIDE Bands.

MSU Pride Bands consist of the 375-member Pride Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Concert Band, Community Band, Bear Mania Basketball Bands, Pride of Missouri State Winter Guard, National Avenue Winter Guard and 901 Performance Ensemble.

🎉 TOP 10 IN THE NATION! 🎉
The results are in, and the Missouri State Pride Marching Band has been named the #10 Best College Marching Band in the country in the USA TODAY Sports Readers’ Choice Awards!
What an incredible honor.

This recognition is especially meaningful when you look at the outstanding programs included in this year’s field. The Pride finished in the Top 10 alongside some of the most respected college marching bands in America:

• Ohio University Marching 110
• Western Carolina Pride of the Mountains
• University of Illinois Marching Illini
• Auburn University Marching Band
• James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes
• University of Minnesota Pride of Minnesota
• Penn State Blue Band
• The Ohio State University Marching Band
• Southern University Human Jukebox
• Missouri State University Pride Bands

The original group of nominees also included incredible programs such as Florida A&M, Jackson State, North Carolina A&T, Purdue, Stanford, Texas A&M, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas.

To finish 10th nationally in this field says so much about our students, our alumni, our university, and the incredible community that supports the Pride.

Most importantly, THANK YOU.

Thank you to every person who voted, shared our posts, sent the link to friends and family, and came back day after day to support our students. You helped make this happen.

Our students work incredibly hard to represent Missouri State University with excellence, energy, and PRIDE. Seeing that work recognized on a national level is something we are extremely proud of.
