Whether you’re a current student veteran, military-connected student, alumni, or a veteran who has walked these halls in the past — we want YOU to be part of Veterans Week! ❤️🤍💙

Join us throughout the week as we come together to honor our veterans, celebrate our military-connected community, and recognize the sacrifices and experiences that connect us all.

🎉 There will be events, activities, food, opportunities to connect, and plenty of chances to show your support for the veterans in our MSU community!

You don’t have to be a current student to participate. If you’ve been part of our veteran community, you’re always part of our community. Come back, bring a friend, reconnect with old classmates, and help us make this Veterans Week one to remember!

A huge thank you to President Williams for hosting such a wonderful gathering of student workers at his home last night! It was a great opportunity to bring student employees together, celebrate the important work they do across campus, and enjoy some time connecting outside of the office. 💙

We were especially honored to have two of our Veteran Student Center work-study students attend the gathering, along with our Director, Raeleen Ziegler. We are so proud of the dedication and hard work our student workers bring to the Veteran Student Center and are grateful they had the opportunity to be recognized and included in such a special evening.

Thank you, President Williams, for making our student workers feel valued and appreciated. We are grateful for your continued support of our students and the work we do at Missouri State University! 🐻❤️

The Veteran Student Center is excited to celebrate our veteran and military-connected students during Veterans Appreciation Week, November 9–14! 🎉

Join us throughout the week for food, games, giveaways, fellowship, and opportunities to celebrate those who have served and continue to serve our country. ❤️🤍💙

🎓✨ Student Spotlight of the month: Jaden! ✨🎓

Meet Jaden! Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jaden is a senior at Missouri State University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. 📚

Jaden is set to graduate in May and is making the most of her final year at MSU! 🎓

Outside of school, Jaden enjoys traveling, reading, and going to the gym. ✈️📖💪

When asked about her favorite part of being at the Veteran Student Center, Jaden shared that it’s “being able to help students and working with all of y’all at the center.” 💛

We’re so grateful to have Jaden as part of our VSC family and are excited to celebrate this upcoming milestone! Keep pushing toward that finish line, Jaden! 🎉🎓

🐾 From Shelter to Service. From Survival to Purpose. 🇺🇸

We’re proud to highlight K9s for Camo, an organization dedicated to transforming rescue dogs into life-saving service dogs for veterans — at no cost to the veteran.

These incredible K9s can be trained to assist with PTSD, TBI, mobility, diabetic alerts, and seizure response, helping veterans regain independence, confidence, and purpose. 🐕‍🦺❤️

We’re grateful to have organizations like K9s for Camo supporting those who have served our country.

Stand with those who served. Partner with those making a difference. 🇺🇸🐾

🇺🇸🏈 HERO APPRECIATION GAME 🏈🇺🇸

What a way to kick off the first home football game of the season! 🐻❤️

Missouri State University opened the season at Plaster Stadium as the Bears took on Lindenwood—and we were proud to be there to celebrate Hero Appreciation Day!

The Veteran Student Center is proud to support the Missouri State community and, most importantly, the men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving others.

The Oldham Family Veteran Student Center was honored to welcome Lieutenant General Charles T. Lombardo, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, and an alumnus of Missouri State University’s ROTC program, along with LTC Kyle Reeves, ROTC Professor of Military Science and Instruction (PMI).

During their visit, LTG Lombardo and LTC Reeves took time to tour the Veteran Student Center and learn more about the services and resources available to Missouri State’s military-connected students.

As a special gesture, LTG Lombardo presented Veteran Student Center Director Raeleen Ziegler with his challenge coin. We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome these distinguished military leaders and proud MSU connections to the Oldham Family Veteran Student Center.
