"Health Promotion & Wellness, and specifically Project Health, transformed my college experience. As a pre-medical student, health education has always been a priority for me, and Project Health offered a hands-on way to pursue that passion. Over three years, I grew from an Advocate to Topic Coordinator to Advocates Branch Director. Each role offered different lessons on leadership, communication, and the power of peer-to-peer impact. Project Health has done more than just shape the physician I hope to become; it has shaped my very time at UA, allowing me to grow as a leader, teammate, communicator, and advocate. I will forever be grateful for my time in Project Health and working within the department of Health Promotion & Wellness."

The University is CLOSED on Monday, May 25, in honor of Memorial Day. We remember the heroes who gave their lives for our freedom and thank them for their service! 🇺🇸

Even though the University is closed, on-call staff from the Dean of Students Office (UA Dean of Students Office), Counseling Center and the Camellia Center (UA Camellia Center) are available to UA students in crisis. The Student Life Support Fund helps us provide resources and experiences that bolster student well-being and development outside of the classroom. Connect with other Bama Bound parents and support the work of Student Life by eating at Central Mesa the first night of orientation, 20% of all proceeds will go to the SL Support Fund.

“Parent & Family Programs (PFP) has allowed me to utilize what I have learned in the classroom and apply it directly to my work. I have been able to experience Family Weekend and other events that have really challenged me and allowed me to grow as a creative, professional, student, and most importantly as a person.
