The official page for The University of Alabama Student Government Association. With your help, we can transform our UA campus into a UA community.

It is the driving goal of SGA to create a student government that works for and works with every student on campus. In order for SGA to truly be effective, we need to hear valuable input from every student. Let us know what your needs and concerns are, and we will work tirelessly to find a solution. The purpose of SGA is not to be above the students but rather about the students.

The 115th Administration was proud to welcome generations of SGA alumni back to campus for a weekend of connection and celebration.

From dedicating the Dr. Kathleen P. Cramer SGA Lobby and the Jessica M. Sanders Executive Vice President’s Office to celebrating the completion of our $1 million Legends Leading Legends Capital Campaign, the weekend was a meaningful reminder of the progress students have made possible through the Student Government Association.

We enjoyed the opportunity to share campus updates, visit the Farrah Hall construction site, learn about the School of Leadership and Policy, and celebrate Homecoming 2026 together.

SGA is built on generations of student leaders who believe in leaving this University better than they found it. We are grateful to those who continue to invest in that mission. Roll Tide!

Join us for an evening of giving back, community, and holiday joy!

Admission is two toys per person. We can’t wait to see you there!

It’s On Us to make a difference.

Throughout It’s On Us Week, our campus community came together to raise awareness, support survivors, and encourage meaningful conversations. From the Safe Center Banquet and educational panel to signing the pledge, participating in the safety walk, and more, each moment reminded us of the power of standing together.

Thank you to everyone who participated, showed their support, and helped make this week meaningful. Creating a safer, more supportive campus is a responsibility we all share, and our commitment doesn’t end when the week does.

Join us on October 12–16 for a week dedicated to raising awareness about sexual assault on college campuses. SGA is passionate about creating a campus that promotes prevention, accountability, and support for survivors.

Throughout the week, students can get involved through educational events, percentage nights, donation drives and other opportunities to make a difference.

Introducing Battle of the Ballots!

This week, The University of Alabama and The University of Georgia are going head-to-head to see which school can generate the most student engagement at four civic engagement events happening throughout the week.

The winner will be announced before the Tide and Bulldogs face off on the field this Saturday. Let the Battle of the Ballots begin!
