Freshman Forum is your opportunity to develop leadership skills, connect with peers, faculty, and staff, and serve the local community. Sessions meet weekly on Wednesdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m. from September 2026 through March 2027.

Are you looking for a community of out-of-state students during your first year at the Capstone? Join New View! We meet Mondays 4:00-5:00 PM during the fall semester. During sessions, you will be paired with an upperclassman mentor and build community with other out-of-state, first-year students. Register via the link in our bio or by visiting uafirst.ua.edu.

CAMP 1831 Recap! During camp, we welcomed new first year and transfer students to campus for the ULTIMATE first year experience! From small group games, to lunch on the quad, to serving the community, we had so much fun at camp. We can’t wait to see all of our campers around campus this fall!
