📚 Publication alert!

Joe Weber’s new book, The Spatial Legacy of the United States Numbered Highway System: Tracing the Changing Geography of America’s Highways, is now available from Palgrave Macmillan.
Marking 100 years since the creation of the U.S. Numbered Highway System in 1926, the book traces the origins and evolution of America’s numbered highways—from the geographic logic behind the network to the ways these roads shaped mobility and the changing geography of the United States.
The system includes one of America’s most iconic roads: U.S. 66, better known as Route 66.

Congratulations to Joe on the new book!
