⛳ That’s a wrap on Business Golf 101!

Over six sessions at Crestview Country Club, 20 Barton School students stepped onto the course to build more than their golf game. They learned the fundamentals, connected with business executives and gained experience navigating an environment where relationships can open doors far beyond the green.

Business Golf 101 is all about skill-building, mentorship and strategic networking, giving students another way to prepare for success in the business world.

Congratulations to this year’s group on completing the program! 🏌️‍♂️🌾

Here’s a look back at their time on the course. 📸

🏆 TOP 3 IN THE NATION! 📈

Our Cummings Student Managed Investment Fund (CSMIF) students just returned from Chicago with an impressive accomplishment!

At the 13th Annual Student Managed Investment Fund Consortium (SMIFC), hosted by Indiana State University, our students earned 3rd place out of approximately 50 schools in the poster competition! 🥉

The competition challenged students to showcase their fund's performance, investment process and holdings, putting their real-world investment knowledge and experience on display.

We're incredibly proud of our CSMIF students for representing the Barton School of Business on a national stage and showing what hands-on learning can lead to.

Congratulations, team! 💛🌾

📈 What a great turnout for the 2026 Kansas Economic Outlook Conference! 🌾

Hosted by Wichita State University’s Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR), the conference brought together business leaders, industry experts and community members to explore what the next 50 years could look like for Kansas.

From economic growth and aviation to AI, energy and health, the event sparked important conversations about the future of our state.

The Barton School is proud to support CEDBR and the incredible work they do to bring these conversations and opportunities to our community.

Congratulations to the CEDBR team on another successful conference! Here’s a look back at the day. 📸💛
