πŸ† Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Heidi Bell

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Heidi Bell, Exercise Science faculty member, on being nationally recognized for her innovation, leadership, and groundbreaking research on tongue strength and movement.

Dr. Bell has established an interdisciplinary research program that bridges clinical exercise physiology and orofacial myology, advancing our understanding of healthy tongue muscle performance and the role physical activity can play in supporting it. Her impactful work has gained international attention and was even featured on NPR's Science Friday with Ira Flatow.

Congratulations, Dr. Bell, on this well-deserved recognition! We are proud to celebrate your accomplishments and grateful for the expertise, passion, and leadership you bring to our program every day.
