Colour, grown differently. 🥕🥬🧵

At FEDISA, fashion education moves beyond the sketchbook and into material experimentation.

Our students are exploring natural dyeing techniques using everyday plant matter, including carrot roots and cabbage, investigating how food and organic materials can become sources of colour for textiles. Through heat, extraction and experimentation, familiar ingredients are transformed into unexpected tones, encouraging students to think critically about where colour comes from, what materials we discard, and how design can work differently.

It is a process of curiosity, testing and discovery, where fashion meets chemistry, craft and more considered approaches to making. 🌿

Because the future of fashion is not only about what we design, but also how we make it.
