Resolution Circle is a recently established company, owned by the University of Johannesburg, with its own board of directors. We have provided P1 and P2 work-integrated learning (WIL) to more than 2000 undergraduate National Diploma Engineering students from 6 Universities of Technology over the last 7 years. We have been highly successful in the training of students and between 200 and 300 inter
ns complete the training programme per year. With each intake, we provide holistic professional development, including technical skills to work readiness. Resolution Circle recently added WIL for TVET National N Diploma students to our offerings and we already have hundreds of participants in the programme nationwide. Over the past 4 years, we have upskilled & reskilled Technical High School Teachers from the Gauteng Department of Education, Limpopo Department of Education, and North-West Department of Education with a specific focus on technical subjects including Boilermaking, Electrical, Electronics and Fitting & Turning. We are involved with various wide scope custom programmes such as the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator (Installation, Repair and Maintenance Programme), the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development EPWP programme and various other programmes in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg. We have recently embarked on training 300 TVET students from various colleges in skills related to PLC, Arduino, PV Solar and Optic Fibre. Our SLP department has trained hundreds of professionals in Solar PV, Optic Fibre, IoT, Robotics and more.
