Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust Hospitality and Tourism Academy successfully concluded a four-day induction programme for the late applications intake, which took place from Tuesday, 12 May 2026 to Friday, 15 May 2026.

The induction provided learners with important information about the Academy, programme expectations, workplace conduct, learning requirements, and the support available throughout their training journey.

MRTT HTA remains committed to empowering learners through quality hospitality and tourism training, while preparing them with the knowledge, discipline, and skills needed to succeed in the industry.

We welcome our new learners and wish them a productive and successful learning journey.

Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) reflects on the final day of Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, highlighting the importance of showcasing our Hospitality and Tourism Academy, building strategic partnerships, and creating opportunities for learners within the tourism and hospitality sector.

Through skills development and industry exposure, MRTT continues to contribute towards empowering young people and supporting the growth of the tourism economy.

Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) calls upon all learners who completed Technical Programmes from 2018 to 2024 and have not yet received their certificates to submit the required information and documents.

Required information/documents include:

Certified copy of ID
Highest qualification
Name of course/trade completed
Year of study
Place/location of training

Submissions must be made on or before Thursday, 21 May 2026.

Please note: This announcement only applies to learners who completed Technical Programmes.
