Today, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr Blade Nzimande, officially handed over a laboratory Lab at Peter Mokaba Primary School in Moloto.
Nkangala TVET College representatives Ms Sikhwambana, Acting Manager at CN Mahlangu Campus, and Mr Mokone from CET were part of the event, alongside other distinguished delegates.
This initiative marks an important step towards advancing science education and empowering learners with access to quality learning facilities. The facility will provide coding and robotics training to learners from Pete Mokaba Primary School and surrounding primary and high schools.
The project is implemented in partnership with Stellenbosch University, the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI), Nkangala TVET College and Mpumalanga Community Education and Training (CET) College.
Learners also had the opportunity to visit exhibitions during the event, where they were exposed to various science, technology, and innovation initiatives.
