Hey ICT Fam!
Three days of innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing have come to a successful close.
Today, the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Innovative Computing, Intelligent Systems and Engineering Technologies (ICISCET 2026) concluded on a high note, bringing together researchers and academics to share insights, present groundbreaking research and explore emerging technological possibilities.
The day’s programme featured a keynote address by Dr Jabu Mtsweni, Head of the Information and Cyber Security Centre and Chief Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). His address set the stage for further intellectual engagement as paper authors proceeded to breakaway sessions to present their research across the fields of innovative computing, intelligent systems and engineering technologies.
Bringing the three day international conference to a close, Conference Chair Prof Chunling Du, Head of the Department of Computer Systems Engineering, extended her appreciation to the keynote speakers, paper authors who shared their research throughout the conference, Faculty of ICT staff members for their support, and the organising team whose dedication contributed to the success of ICISCET 2026.
As the conference concludes, the knowledge exchanged, connections forged and ideas shared reaffirm the importance of research and collaboration in advancing technological innovation and shaping the future of engineering.
The Faculty of ICT at Tshwane University of Technology remains committed to creating platforms that bring together brilliant minds to exchange knowledge, inspire innovation and contribute to technological advancement.
