Opera UCT

Thank you, Cape Town.

To everyone who joined us for Don Giovanni at the Baxter, thank you for making time for live opera and sharing these four performances with us.

Thank you to our two casts and chorus, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, director Talia Stern, designer Allegra Bernacchioni, conductors Jeremy Silver and Peggy Wu, and the coaches, production teams and Baxter colleagues whose work made it possible.

From the rehearsal room to the final curtain, this production brought artist development and public performance together. The work continues in the artists who carry this experience forward, and in the relationship between Opera UCT and its audiences.

What will you remember from this Don Giovanni?

Opera at full force. Its future in the making.
