The Speaker:
Dr. Michael Rode is an entrepreneur and company director based in Paphos. He spent twelve years at Deutsche Börse Group: six years in business development for the Information Products division, including setting up Infobolsa Deutschland GmbH, followed by five years as Managing Director of Avox Limited. In 2011 he founded his own consulting and interim management firm. Today he is co-founder and director of companies in management consulting and air freight logistics in Cyprus, and co-founder and shareholder of three tourism companies in Germany, including partnerships with local municipalities. From 2017 to 2025 he taught finance and entrepreneurship at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences and FOM University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig. He holds a degree in business administration from the Deutsche Bundesbank University of Applied Sciences, an MBA from Duke University, an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and a doctorate in human genetics from Leipzig University. In 2026 he is a mentor in the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition (CyEC).

Κυπριακός Διαγωνισμός Επιχειρηματικότητας 2026

Νέο ρεκόρ 62 αιτήσεων για το CyEC 2026

Η φετινή διοργάνωση αναδεικνύει 24 ομάδες φιναλίστ σε δύο διαδρομές

Ο Κυπριακός Διαγωνισμός Επιχειρηματικότητας 2026 (CyEC 2026) καταγράφει φέτος νέο ρεκόρ, με 62 αιτήσεις συμμετοχής. Η ιδιαίτερα υψηλή ανταπόκριση του κοινού επιβεβαιώνει τη συνεχή ανάπτυξη του θεσμού και την αναγνώρισή του ως σημείου συνάντησης για επιχειρηματικές ιδέες, καινοτομία και νέες ομάδες από την Κύπρο.

Η διοργάνωση του 2026 περιλαμβάνει δύο διαδρομές: το Accelerator και το Launchpad. Σε κάθε διαδρομή έχουν επιλεγεί 12 ομάδες φιναλίστ, δηλαδή συνολικά 24 ομάδες, οι οποίες αντιπροσωπεύουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα τομέων - από την τεχνολογία, τη βιώσιμη κινητικότητα και την αγροτεχνολογία έως την ευεξία, τον πολιτισμό και την κοινωνική επιχειρηματικότητα.

Ο διαγωνισμός οργανώνεται από το Κέντρο Επιχειρηματικότητας (C4E) του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, με μεγάλο χορηγό το Υπουργείο Ενέργειας, Εμπορίου και Βιομηχανίας.

Τη φετινή διοργάνωση στηρίζουν επίσης η Digital Tree Publishers ως χορηγός επικοινωνίας, το NBG Business Seeds της Εθνικής Τράπεζας και το Columbia University ως χορηγοί βραβείων, καθώς και το Panis.News ως χορηγός του Βραβείου Επιλογής Κοινού.

Τα βραβεία της φετινής διοργάνωσης, συνολικής αξίας άνω των €50.000, περιλαμβάνουν χρηματικά έπαθλα, εγγυημένη συμμετοχή στη 2η φάση του 17ου Διαγωνισμού Καινοτομίας και Τεχνολογίας NBG Business Seeds της Εθνικής Τράπεζαςγια τις δύο πρώτες ομάδες του Launchpad, καθώς και μια πλήρως καλυμμένη εβδομαδιαία εμπειρία στη New York Tech Week για δύο μέλη της νικήτριας ομάδας Accelerator. Η διεθνής αυτή εμπειρία, σε συνεργασία με το Columbia University, περιλαμβάνει πρόγραμμα καινοτομίας και ευκαιρίες δικτύωσης στη Νέα Υόρκη.

Ακολουθούν οι ομάδες που ξεχώρισαν στις δύο διαδρομές της φετινής διοργάνωσης.

12 ομάδες φιναλίστ που αναπτύσσουν λύσεις για επιχειρήσεις, πόλεις, μεταφορές, παραγωγή, τεχνολογία και ευεξία.

01 Velograph

Αναπτύσσει πλατφόρμα ανάλυσης αστικής κινητικότητας για δήμους και αρχές μεταφορών. Με κάμερες ποδηλατών, GPS και υπολογιστική όραση αξιολογεί την ασφάλεια διασταυρώσεων και παράγει τεκμηριωμένες βαθμολογίες.

02 Vercite

Προσφέρει B2B SaaS πλατφόρμα που μετρά την ορατότητα εμπορικών σημάτων σε αναζητήσεις με τεχνητή νοημοσύνη, όπως ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity και Google AI, παρακολουθώντας αναφορές, ανταγωνιστές και πηγές.

03 Travio

Μετατρέπει τις απαντήσεις σε οκτώ ερωτήσεις σε ένα ημερήσιο ταξιδιωτικό πρόγραμμα προσαρμοσμένο στον προϋπολογισμό, μέσα σε περίπου 30 δευτερόλεπτα, με χρήση τεχνητής νοημοσύνης.

04 FORSETIX

Αναπτύσσει το FiX, μια B2B SaaS πλατφόρμα λειτουργιών για μικρούς και μεσαίους παραγωγούς ζύμωσης, που συγκεντρώνει διαχείριση παρτίδων, παρακολούθηση παραγωγής, ιχνηλασιμότητα, τεκμηρίωση HACCP και υποβοηθούμενες από AI πληροφορίες.

05 NEWSkills

Δημιουργεί μια συμπεριληπτική πλατφόρμα απασχόλησης που συνδέει νευροδιαφορετικούς υποψηφίους με εργοδότες με βάση προσόντα, δυνατά σημεία, εργασιακές προτιμήσεις και οργανωτική συμβατότητα, με ανθρώπινη επίβλεψη στην αντιστοίχιση.

06 SeaQuant

Αναπτύσσει πλατφόρμα νοημοσύνης αποφάσεων για πλοιοκτήτες και διαχειριστές πλοίων, συνδέοντας στοιχεία συντήρησης, βλαβών, περιβάλλοντος, κόστους και συμμόρφωσης για τον εντοπισμό κινδύνων και την επαλήθευση διορθωτικών ενεργειών.

Προσφέρει διαδικτυακή πλατφόρμα παραγωγής ταινιών που συνδέει την ανάπτυξη σεναρίου και την προπαραγωγή με τη δημιουργία μέσων μέσω AI, το μοντάζ και τη διανομή, με έμφαση στη συνέχεια χαρακτήρων, τοποθεσιών και σκηνών.

08 The Belong Hub by RFI

Προτείνει έναν φυσικό και ψηφιακό κόμβο στη Λεμεσό που συνδυάζει υπηρεσίες επισκεπτών, χώρο εργασίας, τοπικά προϊόντα, πληροφορίες πόλης και διαπολιτισμικές εκδηλώσεις.

09 ParkGate

Βοηθά οδηγούς να βρίσκουν διαθέσιμη ιδιωτική στάθμευση εκτός δρόμου στην Κύπρο, αξιοποιώντας αναφορές οδηγών, δεδομένα από κινητά και πληροφορίες διαχειριστών αντί για αισθητήρα σε κάθε θέση.

10 TerraLumina

Αναπτύσσει ένα διαφυλλικό ψεκαστικό προϊόν AgriTech/Biotech που στοχεύει στην ενίσχυση της ανθεκτικότητας των καλλιεργειών σε περιβαλλοντική καταπόνηση, με βιώσιμη νανοτεχνολογική προσέγγιση που αξιοποιεί εκχυλίσματα φλούδας πορτοκαλιού.

11 TriStats

Συνδυάζει δεδομένα από φορετές συσκευές, ανάλυση απόδοσης, ερμηνεία με AI και κοινωνικά χαρακτηριστικά για τριαθλητές, ώστε να εκτιμά την ετοιμότητα αγώνα, να προβλέπει χρόνους και να αναδεικνύει αδυναμίες.

12 Zopanta

Συνδυάζει εφαρμογή κινητού με συνδεδεμένη συσκευή για να διακόπτει τη συνήθεια της αδιάκοπης κύλισης περιεχομένου, προτρέποντας τον χρήστη σε μια σύντομη φυσική αλληλεπίδραση πριν επιλέξει αν θα συνεχίσει.

Συνδυάζει δορυφορικές εικόνες, δεδομένα από drones, πληροφορίες πεδίου και γεωργικές εργασίες σε πλατφόρμα με AI που βοηθά τους καλλιεργητές να εντοπίζουν καταπόνηση καλλιεργειών, ζητήματα άρδευσης και περιοχές που χρειάζονται προσοχή.

02 BidSwapX

Δημιουργεί ψηφιακή αγορά για άμεσες ανταλλαγές, διαπραγματευόμενες συναλλαγές και δημοπρασίες, ώστε ιδιώτες και επιχειρήσεις να αξιοποιούν την αξία των περιουσιακών στοιχείων που ήδη διαθέτουν.

03 Hobbies+

Βοηθά τους ανθρώπους να μετατρέπουν τα ενδιαφέροντά τους σε δραστηριότητες στον πραγματικό κόσμο. Μέσα από εφαρμογή iOS και Android, οι χρήστες ανακαλύπτουν, δημιουργούν και συμμετέχουν σε ομάδες χόμπι και συντονίζουν τη συμμετοχή τους.

Είναι εγγεγραμμένη κοινωνική επιχείρηση στην Κύπρο που απασχολεί 18 άτομα με αυτισμό, πέντε από τα οποία είναι μέτοχοι της επιχείρησης, προωθώντας την κοινωνική επιχειρηματικότητα, τη συμπερίληψη και την καινοτομία.
