From the BUE Economics classroom to making an impact in the world. ❤️

This week, we’re proud to shine a light on Amira Elmashad, Class of 2017, now a Research Manager & Acting Lead at J-PAL MENA.

Her journey is a beautiful reminder of where curiosity, hard work, and the right opportunities can take you.

Once part of our community, always part of our story. ✨

Induction recap for Economics ...

06/09/2026

Meet Omar & Mohamed — the founders of AUREL.

Economics taught them to analyse markets, understand consumer behaviour, interpret data, take financial decisions, and think strategically to start their own business.

They turned that knowledge into entrepreneurial action.

This is just the beginning and the possibilities of Economics are endless.

They learned to think like economists.
They learned to see beyond the numbers.
They saw an opportunity.
They turned it into AUREL.

Stay tuned…
The story is about to unfold.
