On Sunday, April 12th, the Faculty of Law teams concluded the 6th internal round of the Information Technology Law Moot Court Competition. 🏛️✨

The Moot has become a flagship initiative within our Faculty of Law at The British University in Egypt, focusing on the intersection of technology and human rights, particularly freedom of expression and privacy. The competition serves as a qualifying and preparatory platform for our students ahead of the regional MEA rounds of the moot and plays a central role in equipping them for international moots and careers in TMT law. Alumni of the moot, both from The British University in Egypt and other national and regional participating universities, have gone on to practice human rights, TMT, and other legal disciplines at top-notch institutions. We take pride in having the IT law moot play a role in cultivating their interest and honing their skills in such intersectional and important areas of the law. 🌐⚖️

This year’s edition proudly features 16 teams, comprising 59 participants and supported by 18 dedicated coaches, reflecting a highly competitive and collaborative environment. Please see the official match schedule shared with participants. 🚀🤝
