突破傳統極限 納米級3D列印顛覆精密製造
#中大 機械與自動化工程學系陳世祈教授團隊利用獨特物理現象「時空聚焦」,研發出超高速、超高精度的3D列印技術。列印精度高達納米級,速度比現有商業方案快一千至一萬倍,成本更大幅降低約95%,並支援金屬、半導體、生物分子等超過20種材料,徹底顛覆精密製造業。
團隊成立了中大初創企業「香港超奈科技有限公司」,並獲香港政府「產學研1+計劃」(RAISe+)及風險投資支持,致力推動技術商業化,應用範圍涵蓋AI硬件及醫療技術等龐大的精密製造市場。

Breaking Traditional Limits: Nanoscale 3D Printing Revolutionises Precision Manufacturing
Professor Chen Shih-Chi and his team from the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering have developed an ultra-fast, high-precision 3D printing technology by leveraging a unique physical phenomenon known as "spatial and temporal focusing". Achieving nanoscale precision, the technology prints 1,000 to 10,000 times faster than existing commercial solutions, while drastically cutting costs by around 95% and supporting over 20 materials, including metals, semiconductors, and biomolecules—completely revolutionising precision manufacturing.
To commercialise this technology, the team founded the CUHK spin-off Astra Optics Limited. Supported by the Hong Kong government's RAISe+ and venture capital, the company is actively pushing for commercial adoption across the massive precision manufacturing market, ranging from AI hardware to medical technologies.
