𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 CUHK Case Competition Team!
To help our delegates from the CUHK Case Competition Team (CCT) prepare for international case competitions in the new academic year, the Undergraduate Office of CUHK Business School (UGO) continued its successful partnership on case analysis training with UTS Case Team. Earlier this month, we brought another group of 12 passionate CCT members to Sydney for a fruitful academic exchange focused on consulting skills and business modelling.
Working on real-world business challenges faced by 𝐊𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 and 𝐎𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐨 – from competing with low-cost online retailers to differentiating hybrid technology in a crowded EV market – 28 participants from both institutions formed 7 teams and demonstrated a high level of creativity, resilience, and communication skills.

🥇 6-hour Case Champion: CUTS Consulting [Lauren Ho (IBBA, Year 4), Lawrence Chaung (GBS, Year 3), Daniel Siriasavakul (GBS, Year 2), Michelle Sung (BBAJD, Year 2)]
Despite the intensive academic training, this international collaboration also broadened our participants’ networks with UTS students, coaches, and alumni now working in the professional industry. The team even had the chance to travel around and enjoy the Emerald City!
Kudos to Dr. Nelson Ma from the UTS Business School and the high-calibre students of the UTS Case Team for their warm hospitality and knowledge exchange! We can’t wait for more overseas collaborations ahead and are ready for the case competition challenges that lie ahead!
