🎓 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY | J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics

Are you a first-year Business student at the University of Galway from County Clare or County Waterford? You could be eligible for the Dillon Family Scholarship, offering financial support throughout your undergraduate degree.

Established by University of Galway alumnus David Dillon and Carol Dillon, the scholarship aims to widen access to business education, support students who would benefit from additional financial assistance, and recognise academic ability and motivation.

What does the scholarship offer?
💶 €2,500 per year
🎓 Support for the duration of your undergraduate degree, subject to academic progression
📚 An opportunity to focus on your studies and make the most of university life

Who can apply?
Applicants must:
• Be in Year 1 of an undergraduate degree within the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics.
• Be from County Clare or County Waterford.
• Demonstrate financial need and meet the relevant eligibility criteria, including eligible SUSI, HEAR, DARE, Mature, FETAC or Access routes.
