🌱 Can sustainability become a driver of long-term business value?

In this article, Jon Foster-Pedley, Dean and Director of Henley Business School Africa, explores why sustainability should not be treated as a separate business priority, but as an integral part of how organisations create value.

He highlights the importance of embedding sustainability into business strategy, particularly when organisations face competing demands and uncertainty.

A valuable perspective for leaders looking to build more responsible, resilient and sustainable businesses.

This week, we welcomed 21 experienced professionals to Malta Business School for their three-day Leadership and Personal Development Workshop, marking the beginning of their Henley Executive MBA journey.

Our new cohort brings together professionals from a wide range of industries, including finance, healthcare, technology, energy, transport and entertainment. From Finance Managers and Project Managers to Heads of Operations, Managing Directors and Senior Executives, each learner brings valuable experience and a different perspective to the classroom.

This diversity is one of the strengths of the Henley Executive MBA. Learning alongside professionals from different backgrounds encourages learners to challenge their thinking, exchange ideas and approach business challenges from new perspectives.

Led by our Dean, Lorenzo Mulè Stagno, and Head of Programmes, Christine Caruana, the workshop focuses on leadership, self-awareness and personal development. Through group activities, discussions and presentations, learners are getting to know one another, sharing experiences and beginning to build the relationships that will support them throughout their MBA journey.

We wish you every success in the journey ahead! 💙

Could the skills that matter most in your career be the ones no qualification measures?

Work is changing fast, and much of what today's students will face hasn't been created yet.

That's the focus of Episode 2 of the Reading Ahead podcast.

University of Reading Chancellor Paul Lindley OBE sits down with Dr Naeema Pasha, founder of Henley's World of Work Institute, and Martin Allen Morales, founder of Ceviche and CEO of the Institute of Imagination. Together they discuss the human qualities that could matter more in the future as work keeps shifting - adaptability, self-belief, and staying curious enough to keep learning.

It's territory our World of Work Institute knows well.

Episode 2: Future Skills is out now. Search to watch on YouTube or listen on Spotify.
