Recently, Dr. Giselle Spiteri Miggiani was invited to lecture at the 'Università degli Studi di Torino as part of the Master in Traduzione per il Cinema, la Televisione e l'Editoria Multimediale'. Her intensive workshop focused on the newly emerging competencies and skills required in the era of AI-mediated workflows, offering postgraduate students practical training in AI Dubbing and Voice-Over.

Our Head of Department, Dr Claudine Borg, recently presented a paper at the 'Life Writing and Translation Conference' held at the University of Geneva. The conference brought together scholars working at the intersection of translation, life writing and related fields.

In addition to presenting her research, Dr Borg was invited to chair the panel 'Profession and Learning' and to participate in the conference's plenary closing session. Dr Borg's active participation in this prestigious international conference reflects the Department of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting Studies' commitment to research excellence and reinforces its growing international visibility within the Translation Studies community.
