Congratulations to Dr Claudine Borg on the publication of her encyclopedia entry 'Ethnographic Methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies' in the latest edition of the International Encyclopedia of Language and Linguistics.
The entry provides an overview of the ways in which ethnographic approaches have been adopted and adapted within Translation and Interpreting Studies, highlighting their contribution to the study of translators, interpreters, translation processes, professional practices and the social contexts in which translation takes place.
The International Encyclopedia of Language and Linguistics is one of the leading reference works in the field, making this a significant scholarly achievement and an important contribution to research on translation and interpreting.
We congratulate Dr Borg on this impactful publication and on her continued contribution to advancing research in Translation Studies.
