Building Bridges:
Ascencia Malta Welcomes Its First Integration Programme Participants
At Ascencia Malta, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. It is about creating
opportunities, building connections and empowering individuals to become active members of
the community they live in.
With this vision in mind, Ascencia Malta proudly welcomed 11 participants to its first Migrant
Integration Programme, marking an important milestone in the institution's commitment to
inclusive education and community engagement.
The programme aims to facilitate the successful integration of migrants into Maltese society by
fostering social cohesion, encouraging mutual understanding and equipping participants with the
knowledge and confidence to navigate everyday life in Malta.
Through engaging discussions, interactive activities and practical learning experiences,
participants explore Malta's rich history, language, traditions and cultural identity. Particular
emphasis is also placed on understanding social norms, embracing diversity, developing
positive relationships and participating actively in the local community.
More than simply an educational course, this programme provides a space where different
cultures meet, experiences are shared and meaningful connections can develop.
At Ascencia Malta, we recognise that integration is a two-way journey, built on respect,
understanding and a shared sense of belonging.
