Today, May 29, Professor Constantin Marius Profiroiu, PhD, Vice-Rector for International Relations, met with Dr. Kirsten W. Kininmonth, Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgowโ€™s prestigious Adam Smith Business School.
As part of our commitment to institutional alignment with international AACSB standards, Dr. Kininmonth delivered an impactful training session for ASE faculty. The workshop focused on elevating the educational experience, exploring key strategies such as:

Innovative Course Design: Adapting curricula to meet modern academic demands.

Active Pedagogy: Boosting student engagement and improving learning outcomes, even within large student cohorts.

Modernized Assessment: Refining grading and evaluation methods to reflect real-world skills.

Three full days in Nagasaki as part of a short-term mobility project carried out by 16 students through the Erasmus+ Programme.

The official programme included:
โ˜† a visit with views of Mount Fuji
โ˜† activities and meetings on the campuses of Nagasaki University
โ˜† interaction with the pupils of Mogi Elementary School, whose remarkable energy and curiosity made a lasting impression
โ˜† a cultural experience in a traditional Japanese house, where our host, a master of ikebana, introduced participants to aspects of Japanese aesthetics and hospitality
โ˜† academic sessions addressing the atomic bomb, nuclear energy, and the importance of approaching these topics from multiple perspectives
โ˜† a guided visit to the site of the atomic bomb explosion and to Peace Park, accompanied by explanations provided by a specialist in nuclear energy
โ˜† a visit to the Atomic Bomb Museum
โ˜† exploration of representative sites connected to the history of Christianity in Japan
โ˜† direct insight into the Japanese hospitality industry through a visit to i+land Nagasaki, part of Kato Pleasure Group. Participants had the opportunity to engage with company representatives, who presented the organisationโ€™s philosophy and main areas of activity, followed by an opportunity to experience the services offered by our hosts.

Beyond the official programme, the mobility experience also brought valuable moments of intercultural exchange, new friendships, and memorable shared experiences.

On May 19, 2026, the Aula Magna of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) hosted a landmark event โ€” the first Brazilโ€“Romania Forum dedicated to Creative Economy, Innovation & Technology.

The Forum brought together high-level representatives from diplomacy, academia, and the business sector of both countries, marking an important step toward building a strategic bilateral corridor in the creative industries.

- Official Opening by Prof. Dr. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-rector for International Relations of ASE Bucharest, who emphasized the shared potential of Romania and Brazil in creativity, innovation, and digital transformation.

On May 15, 2026, Prof. Dr. Constantin-Marius Profiroiu, Vice-Rector for International Relations, welcomed a delegation of 28 rectors and university representatives from Tunisia during their visit to Bucharest. ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ด๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ

On May 14, Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Rector of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, together with Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-rector for International Relations welcomed His Excellency Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Bucharest, as well as representatives of University of Sousse, Universitรฉ de Carthage, and University of Manouba, three prestigious higher education institutions from Tunisia, for the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding.

These agreements lay the foundation for strengthening international cooperation between the partner institutions and further support ASEโ€™s internationalization strategy through the development of academic, scientific, and educational collaborations with leading universities in Tunisia.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ“š Between May 4โ€“9, students and professors from the Faculty of Administration and Public Management, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, have participated in the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) โ€œAgile Governance and Organizational Resilience in the Age of Digital Transformationsโ€, hosted by Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb.

The programme brings together participants from four European universities:
