Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility at Erciyes University, Türkiye

Between 29 June and 2 July 2026, two academic staff members from the Faculty of Management and Rural Tourism, University of Life Sciences "King Mihai I" from Timișoara, participated in an Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey.
During the mobility, Lecturer Monica Ocnean, PhD delivered lectures and teaching activities in the field of accounting and finance, while Associate Professor Ioana Bălan, PhD taught courses on Food Security, addressing current topics such as global food security challenges, sustainable agri-food systems, food production sustainability, and the role of public policies in ensuring access to safe and nutritious food.
The programme also included meetings with members of the host institution and study visits to several food processing companies, providing valuable insights into modern food processing technologies, food quality and safety standards, and management systems implemented within the Turkish food industry.
This Erasmus+ mobility provided an excellent opportunity for academic and professional exchange, strengthening teaching competencies and fostering collaboration between the two partner universities. Furthermore, the activities carried out during the visit laid the foundation for future joint research projects, academic exchanges, and international partnerships in the fields of agriculture, food security, and sustainable agri-food systems.

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility at the University of Applied Sciences in Križevci, Croatia

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, colleagues from the Faculty of Management and Rural Tourism participated in a staff mobility at the University of Applied Sciences in Križevci.

During the mobility, they had the opportunity to work with a highly professional and welcoming team, whose dedication and support contributed significantly to the success of the programme. Special thanks are addressed to Marcela Andreata-Koren, Tatjana Jelen, Valentina Papić Bogadi, Sandra Kantar, Silvie Jerčinović and Kristina Svržnjak for their hospitality, openness, and continuous involvement throughout the mobility period.

The programme also included valuable academic activities, such as tourism-related lectures and practical sessions delivered by Sonja Rajić-Bistrović, as well as lectures on business management and its application within Croatian higher education, presented by Dušanka Gajdić.

The mobility represented an excellent opportunity for professional development, exchange of good practices, and further strengthening of the cooperation between the two institutions within the Erasmus+ framework.

Experiență internațională de succes prin Erasmus+!!!

Un nou exemplu al oportunităților oferite de Programul Erasmus+ este mobilitatea de practică realizată de studentul Rusu Andrei, masterand al programului de studii Bioeconomy, la compania Saatzucht Gleisdorf GmbH din Austria, în perioada 16 martie – 1 iunie 2026.

Pe durata stagiului, Andrei a fost implicat în activități specifice domeniului ameliorării plantelor, participând la pregătirea semințelor, înființarea și monitorizarea loturilor experimentale. Această experiență i-a oferit oportunitatea de a observa direct procesele de cercetare și dezvoltare din agricultură și de a aplica în practică cunoștințele dobândite în cadrul programului de masterat.

Prin activitățile desfășurate, studentul a înțeles mai bine rolul cercetării și al ameliorării genetice în dezvoltarea unor culturi performante, adaptate provocărilor agriculturii moderne. În același timp, mobilitatea Erasmus+ a contribuit la dezvoltarea competențelor sale profesionale și personale, oferindu-i șansa de a lucra într-un mediu internațional și multicultural și de a se familiariza cu bune practici din sectorul agricol european.
