LBCC Livestock Judging Team Alumni and Friends

This past weekend our sophomore and freshman teams competed in the Triple Crown Contest Series. Three contests in three days, 35 classes and 12 sets of reasons. Over the past few years, these three contests altogether have been great prep for the remainder of the Fall. We would say the 2026 contests were the best three so far!

Thank you to Modesto Junior College, UC Davis, and Chico State for all their hard work! It was a great learning opportunity for all team members. Results from the weekend with junior college and senior college teams in one division:

Busy last few weeks for the Roadrunners! Beginning of October, Sophomores competed at the historical Cow Palace Grand National Livestock Judging Contest. Then this past weekend, our freshmen went south to Medford for the Western Fall Classic Livestock Judging Contest while the sophomores were out east for the American Royal. Thank you to all who are involved in putting on the contests! We realize many hours and volunteers go towards coordinating a competition and we truly appreciate it.
