✨ Influential Women Spotlight: Mindy Street ✨

Mindy Street, M.Ed., CFRE, is helping shape the future of philanthropy and nonprofit leadership as Executive Director of the Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at Auburn University. Since stepping into the role in 2025, she has focused on expanding opportunities in philanthropy education, financial wellness, and nonprofit development.

With more than a decade of philanthropic leadership experience, Mindy has helped secure more than $75 million in private support for scholarships, academic programs, capital projects, and strategic initiatives. Today, she brings that experience to creating programs that help people discover purpose through learning, giving, and growing while strengthening the communities around them.

The Cary Center Youth Programs team had a great time hanging out with Our House Auburn while teaching our iCare Kids Book Club curriculum 📚. It was a privilege to witness the incredible work they do at summer camp and see the impact they make in the lives of the children and families they serve 💙.

This role provides strategic leadership for the Women's Philanthropy Board in the College of Human Sciences Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, advancing the organization's mission, as well as its goals for membership, education, outreach, community engagement, program quality, and philanthropic impact. Oversees program development, implementation, evaluation, and stakeholder relationships to strengthen impact and long‑term sustainability.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree-no specific discipline required
5 years of experience coordinating outreach programs, events, and stakeholder engagements including donor or board relations.

Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree is preferred (not required)

Do not miss the opportunity to travel with WPB to the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia on June 25th.
