Masterclass description:
Step into the vibrant world of Mongolian dance, where every movement tells a story of the vast grasslands, galloping horses, and the nomadic spirit. This class blends traditional Chinese ethnic dance techniques with the unique flair of Mongolian culture, from sweeping arm gestures that mimic the wind to rhythmic footwork inspired by horseback riding. You’ll learn signature movements such as wrist rotations, shoulder shimmies, and expansive spins, all set to lively, folk-inspired music. Along the way, we’ll focus on posture, fluidity, and expressive storytelling, helping you embody both the strength and grace of this centuries-old art form.
Perfect for dancers of all levels, this class offers not just technique, but a cultural journey, connecting you to the heritage, energy, and joy of Mongolian dance.
