Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Dean’s Seminar Series featuring Drayton Nabers Jr., author of The Case for Character. Together, we explored how character shapes the way we lead, serve and make a difference in the lives of others.

The conversation doesn’t end here. How can we put character into action in our daily lives and leadership? That’s a question worth continuing to ask.

Samford’s Healthcare Administration program prepares students for leadership through hands-on experiences, professional connections and a focus on ethical, servant leadership. The program recently earned seven-year AUPHA recertification, the maximum certification period available.

Preparing for real-world practice starts with hands-on learning. Today, Master of Social Work students took part in a simulation in Samford’s Home Care Lab, a 1,100-square-foot unit designed to mirror a real home environment and help students develop skills for community-based practice.
