Coach Jay and the staff will be out on the trail all season scouting talent for Callins College!
Fall 2027 marks our inaugural season as the first collegiate JUCO football program in the State of Alabama.

The Details:

What We Are:

A state-approved junior college—offering the same collegiate path as Lawson State, Jefferson State, or Shelton State. As a private institution, we're bringing collegiate football directly to our campus next fall.

What We Are NOT:

We are not a prep organization, a post-grad program or a gap year program. Be careful of these Bishop Sycamore sport clubs organizations out there.

The Opportunity:

Transfer & High school student-athletes can now play collegiate JUCO football as well as other sports for both male and female right here in Alabama without leaving the state. Also, students athletes will be developed and trained in one or two years ready to compete on a D1 or D2 level among other benefits that comes with playing at a Junior College.

Accountability:

We will operate as an Independent program for our first two seasons before joining the NJCAA, while competing fully under NJCAA rules, regulations, and bylaws from Day 1. All aspiring student-athletes must be enrolled and taking classes at Callins College to participate in athletics.
