Theresa Grentz joined the University of Illinois coaching staff in 1995, becoming the Head Coach for the Women’s Basketball team. She was named Big 10 Coach of the Year in 1998, leading the women’s basketball team to the Sweet Sixteen in 1997. Prior to her coaching career at Illinois, Theresa was an Olympic athlete and competed for the USA Women’s basketball team in 1973 in Moscow. She served as the USA Women’s basketball team head coach in 1985, 1990, and 1992. In 2012, she also founded Grentz Elite Coaching, a basketball education program for children and coaches.

The European Union Center at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign focuses on the teaching, research, and public engagement on Europe, the European Union, and transatlantic trade. The Associate Director role would require them to teach courses, advise students, oversee the graduate program, manage budgets, manage staff, and provide strategic intellectual guidance for developing core areas of the European Union Center (EUC) in a professionally efficient and effective manner.
