That awkward moment when you’re on the phone while driving and UTCPD pulls up… 📱🚔👀 Suddenly the phone gets put away faster than instagram when the professor walks by.

But seriously… distracted driving is no joke. Looking at your phone, even for a few seconds, takes your attention away from the road. Your group chat will survive without you for the next few minutes. We promise!

Congratulations to Corporal Ginger Dockery and Officer Walker Anderson on successfully completing Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training hosted by the Chattanooga Police Department.

CIT training equips law enforcement officers with additional tools to recognize and respond effectively to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Thank you, Corporal Dockery and Officer Anderson, for continuing to build the skills and knowledge that help us better serve and support the UTC community!

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage and sacrifice of those who responded, and recognize the countless acts of service that followed.

May we carry forward the spirit of compassion, courage, and service that brought people together in the days that followed.

Remember. Honor. Serve.
