PEOPLE OF HONORS PART ONE!
⭐⭐⭐Read Janae's full story here!! ⭐⭐⭐
"The best Honors experience I've ever had was the Honors retreat. I remember being so nervous to come to college and feeling sad on my move -in day. I was leaving my sister, my dog, my boyfriend, and everything that felt comfortable to me. I cried all of the move-in until it was time to start the retreat. When I got there and met my team and started chopping it up with my fellow Honors students, all of a sudden all the sadness I felt started to dull. Every day of the retreat, it got duller and duller. It felt amazing to just play games, socialize, and not have to focus on my sadness.
I ended up meeting two of my very good friends in college during the Honors retreat. After the Honors retreat, I kept making more friends in Honors. The Honors retreat and Honors in general gave me a sense of security during my freshman year. Being surrounded by people who are on the same path as me and who are in similar positions as me made me ten times more comfortable in my college experience. I feel like there's no better way to start college than that."
