Sigma is sponsoring a Crochet Club Healing Stitches for SIUE School of Nursing students on Wednesday, Nov. 18th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Health Sciences Building Atrium. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own crochet supplies; however, we will provide snacks and crochet materials for anyone who cannot.
The goal of this event is to work collaboratively to create a Sigma Nursing Granny Square Blanket using Sigma colors (purple, white, and gray). We will donate the completed blanket as a silent auction item for the SNA Glow Bingo event this spring.
Whether you are an experienced crocheter or have never picked up a crochet hook before, we invite you to join us for an evening of creativity, community, and service. We hope to see you there!

Members of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) recently attended a bonfire and hayride at Eckert's in Belleville. A little mud and rain, but everyone had fun!

BJC recently held an NCLEX Trivia Night 🎉 Brittney Mihalich, a SIUE student, won our top individual score grand prize: St. Louis Blues suite tickets!

While she participated on a team with other SIUE nursing students, Brittney had the highest score of the night among nearly 100 nursing students across the region.

Over the last week, the SIUE Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy welcomed students from Freeburg, Belleville West, and Hazelwood for a day of experiences at the SIUE Health Sciences Complex. Students explored simulation mannequins, learned about vaccinations from a pharmacist's perspective, and heard from faculty and students.
