✨Student Spotlight on Darian Hawkins, Music Education major✨

“When it came time to choose where I wanted to go to college, SIUE was my number one choice. Back in 2015, I began the SIUE Suzuki Strings program, coming every Thursday for private lessons and every Saturday for group classes, I remember all the lessons learned and challenges conquered. From the lively community of students within the music department to the esteemed and knowledgeable faculty, SIUE is the place I want to be. Because I am already so familiar with the community SIUE has always felt like a home away from home. Plus, it doesn't hurt that red is my favorite color!”
